Alfred Mather

Alfred was born in 1836 in Heywood.¹

Alfred's father was James Mather and his mother was Sarah Aked. His paternal grandparents were Bold (Bould) Mather and Alice Taylor. He had five brothers and a sister, named Edmund, John, Robert, Frederick, Aked and Alice. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died in Staffordshire.
