Aked James Mather

Aked was born in March 1841 in Heywood.¹

Aked's father was James Mather and his mother was Sarah Aked. His paternal grandparents were Bold (Bould) Mather and Alice Taylor. He had five brothers and a sister, named Edmund, John, Robert, Alfred, Frederick and Alice. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 17 in July 1858 in Liverpool.²
