George Lomax

George was born in September 1872 in Little Bolton and his baptism took place on October 6th, 1872 at St. George (Little Bolton).¹²

George's father was Levi Lomax and his mother was Margaret Booth. His maternal grandparents were James Booth and Ann Mather. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, George, William, Samuel, Albert, Ernest, Elizabeth, Mary and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 57 in 1929.
