Margaret Booth

Margaret was born in August 1847 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on August 1st, 1847 in Walmsley.¹²

Margaret's father was James Booth and her mother was Ann Mather. Her paternal grandparents were Luke Booth and Esther Hamer; her maternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Hannah Knowles. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Luke, Luke, William, Esther, Betty and Mary. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother named Thomas. She died at the age of 55 in May 1903 in Little Bolton.³
