General Notes
Being in the building trade, Luke was probably an important and well known person, born Harwood Lee. He would have known the Mather family there.
Luke's first wife Esther died in 1819, and Luke remarried Jane Crompton in 1821 and had John and Jane by her.
In 1841, Luke (a plasterer) and Jane (40 & 50) weere at Barn Square, Little Bolton with John and Jane (both 15)
In 1851, Luke (born Harwood Lee) and Jane (51 & 60) were at 1 Slater Street, Little Bolton with 5 lodgers.
Luke died by accident, falling from a ladder at his warehouse.
