George was born in July 1871 in Little Bolton and his baptism took place on August 20th, 1871 at St. George (Little Bolton).¹²

Birth Notes

George's father was Levi Lomax and his mother was Margaret Booth. His maternal grandparents were James Booth and Ann Mather. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, George, William, Samuel, Albert, Ernest, Elizabeth, Mary and Jane. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died in July 1871 in Little Bolton.¹
