Thomas Isherwood

Thomas was born in 1819 in Preston and his baptism took place there on March 14th, 1819.¹²

Thomas' father was Ralph Isherwood and his mother was Ann Mather. His paternal grandparents were James Isherwood and Susan Crompton; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Ralph, John, James, Mary, Jenny, Charlotte, Ann, Susan and Alice. He had an adopted sister named Charlotte. He died at the age of 79 in September 1898 in Preston.³
