John Isherwood

John was born in 1830 in Preston.¹

Birth Notes
- Aged 10 in 1841

John's father was Ralph Isherwood and his mother was Ann Mather. His paternal grandparents were James Isherwood and Susan Crompton; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Ralph, James, Mary, Jenny, Charlotte, Ann, Susan and Alice. He had an adopted sister named Charlotte. He died at the age of 74 in June 1904 in Preston.²
