Charlotte Isherwood

Charlotte was born on July 6th, 1816 in Entwistle and her baptism took place on July 8th, 1835 at St. John (Preston) conducted by Vicar R. Carus Wilson.¹²

Charlotte's father was Ralph Isherwood and her mother was Ann Mather. Her paternal grandparents were James Isherwood and Susan Crompton; her maternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Ralph, John, James, Mary, Jenny, Ann, Susan and Alice. She had an adopted sister named Charlotte. She died at the age of 76 on March 8th, 1893 in Preston.³
