Alice Isherwood

Alice was born in 1835 in Preston and her baptism took place on April 5th, 1835 at St. John (Preston).¹²

Alice's father was Ralph Isherwood and her mother was Ann Mather. Her paternal grandparents were James Isherwood and Susan Crompton; her maternal grandparents were Isaac Mather and Alice Fielding. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Ralph, John, James, Mary, Jenny, Charlotte, Ann and Susan. She had an adopted sister named Charlotte. She died at the age of 82 in January 1917 in Fylde.³
