Anne Hopley

Anne was born in March 1750 in Shocklach and her christening took place there on March 17th, 1750.¹

Anne's father was Thomas Hopley and her mother was Catherine Lewis.  Her paternal grandparents were William Hopley and Anne Williams. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Thomas, James, Robert, Samuel, Peter, Charles, Mary and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 76 in April 1826 in Cheshire.  She was buried on April 26th, 1826 in Shocklach.^2 2
