Ellen Farnworth

Ellen was born in June 1869 in Farnworth.¹

Ellen's father was Alfred Farnworth and her mother was Alice Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Ellen Warburton. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Alfred, Joseph, George, Sarah, Ellen, Alice and Esther.  She was the second oldest of the nine known children.  She died as an infant at the age of 1 in 1870 in Bolton.¹
