Abraham (Alexander) Crook

Abraham, known as Alexander, was born in 1816 in Little Lever and his baptism took place on October 6th, 1816 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Alexander's father was William Crook and his mother was Betty Nelson. His paternal grandparents were William Crook and Alice Aldred. He had three brothers and six sisters, named John, Andrew, James, Johanna, Alice, Elizabeth, Ann, Mary and Hannah. He was the eighth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 78 on May 22nd, 1894 in Bolton. His burial was on May 26th, 1894 in Lancashire.³⁴
