Esther Hannah Buckley

Esther was born in October 1875 in Darcy Lever and her baptism took place on November 28th, 1875 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

Esther's father was William Buckley and her mother was Ann Pollitt (Greenhalgh). Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Buckley and Mary Webster; her maternal grandparents were Miles Pollitt and Betty (Elizabeth) Openshaw Greenhalgh. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Ben, Sarah and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Levi, John, Phipps, Thomas, Mary, Hannah, Agnes and Martha. She died at the age of 54 on January 12th, 1930 in Bolton.³
