Harriet Briggs 
Harriet was born in 1854 in Bingley.1 Harriet's father was Moses Briggs and her mother was Alice Pickles. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Briggs and Abigail Bradshaw; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Pickles and Mary Roberts. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Mark, William, Rosanna, Caroline, Abigail, Mary, Alice and Emma. She was the second oldest of the nine children.General Notes
