Nora Shaffner

Nora was born on February 28th, 1888.¹   Nora's father was John J. Schaffner and her mother was Harriet Jane Minich.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Schaffner and Phoebe Hoffman. She had seven brothers and eight sisters, named Harry George, Jacob O., Edgar, Charles, Nettie P., Marion Gilbert, Ralph, Annie Elizabeth, Katharine Nolen, Rosie, Emma E., Helen, Alice, Harriet and Bertha.  She was the fourth youngest of the sixteen children.  She died at 5 months old on August 13th, 1888.¹
