Alice Shaffner

Alice was born on May 20th, 1889.¹   Alice's father was John J. Schaffner and her mother was Harriet Jane Minich.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Schaffner and Phoebe Hoffman. She had seven brothers and eight sisters, named Harry George, Jacob O., Edgar, Charles, Nettie P., Marion Gilbert, Ralph, Annie Elizabeth, Katharine Nolen, Rosie, Emma E., Helen, Nora, Harriet and Bertha.  She was the third youngest of the sixteen children.  She died at the age of 52 on January 2nd, 1837.¹
