Harry George Shaffner

Harry George was born on January 15th, 1871.¹   Harry George's father was John J. Schaffner and his mother was Harriet Jane Minich.  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Schaffner and Phoebe Hoffman. He had six brothers and nine sisters, named Jacob O., Edgar, Charles, Nettie P., Marion Gilbert, Ralph, Annie Elizabeth, Katharine Nolen, Rosie, Emma E., Helen, Nora, Alice, Harriet and Bertha.  He was the second oldest of the sixteen children.  He died at the age of 27 on April 3rd, 1898.¹
