Edgar Shaffner

Edgar was born on October 9th, 1877.¹   Edgar's father was John J. Schaffner and his mother was Harriet Jane Minich.  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Schaffner and Phoebe Hoffman. He had six brothers and nine sisters, named Harry George, Jacob O., Charles, Nettie P., Marion Gilbert, Ralph, Annie Elizabeth, Katharine Nolen, Rosie, Emma E., Helen, Nora, Alice, Harriet and Bertha.  He was the sixth oldest of the sixteen children.  He died at the age of 1 on December 18th, 1878.¹
