Harriet Shaffner

Harriet was born on December 6th, 1890.¹   Harriet's father was John J. Schaffner and her mother was Harriet Jane Minich.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Schaffner and Phoebe Hoffman. She had seven brothers and eight sisters, named Harry George, Jacob O., Edgar, Charles, Nettie P., Marion Gilbert, Ralph, Annie Elizabeth, Katharine Nolen, Rosie, Emma E., Helen, Nora, Alice and Bertha.  She was the second youngest of the sixteen children.¹
