Daniel Johannes Troxell 
Daniel Johannes was born on December 8th, 1726 in Wolfersheim, Germany. Daniel Johannes' father was Peter Trachsel and his mother was Juliana Catharina Deshler. His paternal grandparents were Jakob+ Trachsel and Margaretha+ Brengal; his maternal grandfather was David Deshler and his maternal grandmother is Marie Wister. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Peter Johannes, David, Johannes Michael or John Peter, Christian, George Frederick, Juliana Margaretha and Maria Margaretha. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 88 in 1814 in Littlestown, Adams Co., PA. He was buried in Christ RefOrned Church outside Littlestown, PA.General Notes
Daniel was seven years old when he immigrated with his parents to Pennsylvania (8/17/1733). On 11/29/1758, "Daniel" received 200 acres of land from his father`s property, in Leigh Co., and farmed that land until 12/26/1767 when he sold his farm and moved to an area in York Co. which is now part of Adams Co. He is buried at the Christ RefOrned Church near Littlestown, PA.
