Christian Troxell 
Christian was born on April 16th, 1739 in Egypt, Bucks Co., PA. Christian's father was Peter Trachsel and his mother was Juliana Catharina Deshler. His paternal grandparents were Jakob+ Trachsel and Margaretha+ Brengal; his maternal grandfather was David Deshler and his maternal grandmother is Marie Wister. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Peter Johannes, Daniel Johannes, David, Johannes Michael or John Peter, George Frederick, Juliana Margaretha and Maria Margaretha. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 57 on October 10th, 1796 in Frederick Co., MD.General Notes
Christian was baptised in the Egypt RefOrned Church on Apr. 16, 1739. Sponsors: Christian Brengel, Peter Troxel and Salome Gut, wife of Lorenz. Christian was involved in a property dispute involving land he purchased as the result of a land survey on Dec. 12, 1784, in Bedford, PA. (Nicholas Leetch vs. Christian Troxel." Christian apparently won the case. Christian took warrant on 280 acres of land on Mar. 1, 1790 in Bedford Co., PA.
