Juliana Catharine (Deshler) Trachsel was listed as age 30 when they arrived in Philadelphia in 1733 with other "Palatines" on the "Samuel" (last from Cowes, Hugh Percy, Master from Rotterdam). According to "Wyoming & Lackawanna Valleys, Pennsylvania Genealogies & Family Histories", Volume l-11(Page 398), Peter "married Juliana Catherine Deshler, and the first baptism recorded in `Aegypten` by the Rev. Goetchins was that of a son...". My Uncle Troxell`s reseach finds her maiden name to be "Deshler" as well. I have seen the maiden name "Trauthager" ,Fraudhiger", etc., so I would appreciate any information that would support this (a second marriage?).
