Adam Sr. Deshler 
Adam Sr. was born in 1713 in Heidelberg, Baden, GER. Adam Sr.'s father was David Deshler and his mother is Marie Wister. His maternal grandfather is ? Wister\Wisser. He had a brother and a sister, named Anthony and Juliana Catharina. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 68 on September 9th, 1781 in Buried Egypt Ref. Adam and his wife Appolonia arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "Hope" from Rotterdam, last from Cowes, Daniel Ried, master, arriving Aug. 28, 1733. He was a prominent personality in Northampton and built Deshler Fort in Whitehall township in 1756. They had three sons and four daughters, named David, Peter, John Adam, Eva Catharine, Juliana Elizabeth, Barbara and Catherine.

Barbara Deshler
