John+ Troxell 
John+ was born on May 3rd, 1761 in Bethlehem, PA. John+'s father was Daniel Johannes Troxell and his mother was Anna Sophia Dotterer. His paternal grandparents were Peter Trachsel and Juliana Catharina Deshler; his maternal grandparents were Johan Michael Dotterer and Anna Marie Fischer. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Daniel, Jacob, Anthony, David, Adam, Maria Magdalena and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 94 on October 2nd, 1855 in Gettysburg, PA.General Notes

Like his parents, John migrated to Cumberland Township, York Co. He was a veteran of the Revolutionary War and served in the Continental Line, Colonel`s Co. (Colonel Richard Hampton), Tenth Pennsylvania Regiment. He also served three terms on the Gettysburg Borough Council and was active in the early development of Gettysburg (The wall of the court house at Gettysburg states that John was the first resident of the town - see document attached). He was listed as a cooper and eventually, he built and operated a tavern in the town. John is buried at the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg.

Abraham Troxell
Abraham was born on December 26th, 1786 in Gettysburg, PA. He died at the age of 88 on April 8th, 1875 in Baltimore, MD.
Anne Marie Troxell
Anne Marie was born in 1794 in Gettysburg, PA. She died at the age of 77 in 1871 in unk.
