Mary was born on January 8th, 1750 in NC. Mary's father was John+ Mills and her mother was Sarah+ Beals. Her paternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Rachel+ Bates; her maternal grandparents were John II+ Beals and Sarah+ Bowater. She had three brothers and five sisters, named John III, John, Joseph, Phebe, Sarah, Hannah+, Elizabeth Ann and Keziah. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 70 on January 16th, 1820 in Whitewater Mm, Wayne Co., IN.General Notes
