William Cook 
William was born on July 30th, 1785 in Guilford, NC. William's father was Thomas Cook and his mother was Mary Mills. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Cook and Mary+ Underwood; his maternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Sarah+ Beals. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Isaac, Thomas, John, Jacob, Zimri, Nathan, Sarah and Elizabeth. He is the fourth youngest of the ten children.General Notes
