John III Mills 
John III was born in 1737 in probably VA. John III's father was John+ Mills and his mother was Sarah+ Beals. His paternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Rachel+ Bates; his maternal grandparents were John II+ Beals and Sarah+ Bowater. He had two brothers and six sisters, named John, Joseph, Phebe, Sarah, Hannah+, Elizabeth Ann, Keziah and Mary. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 on March 2nd, 1815 in Lost Creek Mm, Jefferson Co., TN.General Notes
