William Mills 
William was born on February 19th, 1770 in New Garden Mm, Guilford, NC. William's father was John III Mills and his mother was Sarah Millikan. His paternal grandparents were John+ Mills and Sarah+ Beals. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Samuel, John, Zachariah, Jane, Sarah, Abigail, Mary, Ruth, Alice, Lydia and Rachel. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 92 on August 8th, 1862 in Jasper, IA.General Notes
