Nichole was born in 1205 in Arundel Castle, West Sussex, England and her baptism took place in of Gloucester,of Staffordshire,,England.1   Nichole's father was William III d'Aubigny 3rd Earl of Arundel and Sussex and her mother was Mabel De Meschines.  Her paternal grandparents were William II le Breton d'Aubigny Earl of Sussex and Maud or Matilda de St. Hilary du Harcouet; her maternal grandparents were Hugh  Keveliok (3Rd Earl) De Meschines and Bertrade d'Evreux Montfort. She had two brothers and six sisters, named William IV de, Hugh, Cecily, Isabella, Colette, Cicely, Maud and Isabella.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 35 in 1240 in Dudley Castle, Stafford, England.1

‌Nichole and Roger de were married in a religious ceremony about 1220 in Barrow, Leicester, England.  They had a son and three daughters, named Ralph de, Joan de, Mabel de and Margaret de.

‌Nichole and Roger were married in a religious ceremony about 1229 in Arundel, Sussex, England.  They had a son named Ralph.
