Agnes was born about 1095 in Garlande, France.1 Agnes' father was Anselm (Count) De Garland and her mother was N.N. De Monthlhery. Her paternal grandparents are William I De Garland and Agnes De Respy; her maternal grandfather was Guy II "The Red" Sire De Monthlhery and her maternal grandmother is Elise De Corbeil. She had a brother named Willem III De. She was the older of the two children. She died in 1181.2 General Notes
