Benjamin Franklin Shipley , Sr 
Benjamin Franklin was born about 1786 in Md.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was Elijah Shipley , Sr and his mother was Rachel Elizabeth Kingston. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Shipley and Catherine Hawk. He had five brothers named Joshua, Richard, Elijah, Adam and Caleb. He was the oldest of the six children. He died on January 15th, 1855 in Sullivan Co, Tennessee. He was buried in Shipley Cemetery, Warrior's Path, Hemlock, Sullivan Co, Tennessee.2 2 General Notes
