Elijah Shipley , Jr 
Elijah was born in 1796 in Sullivan Co, Tennessee.1 Elijah's father was Elijah Shipley , Sr and his mother was Rachel Elizabeth Kingston. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Shipley and Catherine Hawk. He had five brothers named Benjamin Franklin, Joshua, Richard, Adam and Caleb. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 56 on August 10th, 1852 in Pettusville, Limestone Co, Alabama.1 General Notes
