Lois Howard 
Lois was born in 1655 in Baltimore, Anne Arundel Co, Maryland. Lois' father was Capt. Cornelius Howard and her mother was Elizabeth Todd Sisson. Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Howard Immigrant and Anne Hall. She had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah. She died at the age of 70 in 1725 in Anne Arundel Co., Md.General Notes

It is important to understand that the ancestry of Lois Howard is currently under dispute. There are many individuals who believe that Lois is a daughter of Captain Cornelius Howard (as stated in this work), but there are also just as many people who believe that Lois (Howard) Shipley is not the daughter of Capt. Cornelius Howard. The Shipleys of Maryland have not made any ancestral links to Cornelius Howard, however there is mass confusion and debate on the subject.
