Rachel Shipley 
Rachel was born on February 28th, 1821 in Sullivan Co, Tennessee.1 Rachel's father was Benjamin Franklin Shipley , Sr and her mother was Catherine Wells. Her paternal grandparents were Elijah Shipley , Sr and Rachel Elizabeth Kingston. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Orson, Endymion, Jesse, Zachariah, Eli Wilson, Benjamin Franklin, Mary, Malinda, Nancy, Catherine, Sibila and Christina. She was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 71 on August 22nd, 1892.1 General Notes
