Jesse Shipley 
Jesse was born in 1814 in Sullivan Co, Tennessee.1 Jesse's father was Benjamin Franklin Shipley , Sr and his mother was Catherine Wells. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Shipley , Sr and Rachel Elizabeth Kingston. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Orson, Endymion, Zachariah, Eli Wilson, Benjamin Franklin, Mary, Malinda, Rachel, Nancy, Catherine, Sibila and Christina. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. He died in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 General Notes
