Orson Shipley 
Orson was born on November 10th, 1805 in Sullivan Co, Tennessee.1 Orson's father was Benjamin Franklin Shipley , Sr and his mother was Catherine Wells. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Shipley , Sr and Rachel Elizabeth Kingston. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Endymion, Jesse, Zachariah, Eli Wilson, Benjamin Franklin, Mary, Malinda, Rachel, Nancy, Catherine, Sibila and Christina. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 74 on December 19th, 1879 in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 General Notes
