Mary Elizabeth Shipley 
Mary Elizabeth was born on May 10th, 1844 in Sullivan Co., Tennessee.1 Mary Elizabeth's father was Orson Shipley and her mother was Hannah O Hunt. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Shipley , Sr and Catherine Wells. She had five brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John H, Benjamin Franklin, Orson Austin, David Wells, Jessie Perry, Catherine Wells, Sarah, Nancy, Martha, Barbara and Beyer. She was the third youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 70 on January 21st, 1915.1 General Notes
