Tom Slaughter McEwen 
Tom Slaughter was born on August 31st, 1909 in AL.1 Tom Slaughter's father was George Washington, Jr. McEwen and his mother was Attis Alice Allen. His paternal grandparents were George Washington McEwen and Mary Catherine Sears; his maternal grandparents were Francis Marion Allen and Martha Ann Wood. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Francis Washington, John Sears, George Molton, Benjamin Jasper, Beatrice, Mary Fannie, Tulloloh May, Annie Elizabeth and Ida Willene. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 on October 26th, 1985 in Coosa Co., AL.1 -
