WAR OF 1812 Henry Logan - 2nd Regiment Mounted Gunmen (Brown's) East
Tennessee Volunteers. A Henry Logan was recorded in the Blount County
1830 Federal Census, Western Division, page 264.
The below sentence refers to an area near Hatchett Creek of Coosa
Co., AL.
"Henry Logan was here among the Indians, and Ellis, his son, grew up
here, and was once the sheriff of the county and went as captain to the
Confederate War in the 13th Ala. Regt." (1)
