Bloomfield Logan 
Bloomfield was born in 1827 in GA.1 Bloomfield's father was Henry Logan and his mother was Martha Ann George. His paternal grandparents were David Logan and Hannah (?). He had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Ellis, Mary Ann, Malinda, Mahala, Marthabea E. and Elizabeth Ann. He was the youngest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Samuel Houston, Martha Missouri and Lou Annie. He died at the age of 63 on November 24th, 1890 in Coosa Co., AL.1 General Notes

The historical record roll dated near Petersburg, Va. Dec 31st 1864,
lists Bloomfield Logan as joining the 13th AL Infantry Company H on 8 Mar
1862 as a private. It also lists him as born in Georgia, age 36, married,
and a farmer at Travellers Rest, AL. (1) He was present at the Siege of
Yorktown and absent sick from the following: Seven Pines, May 31st of
1862, to Malvern Hill, July the 1st 1862. He received a furlough at
hospital in Ricmond, VA on May 30th, 1864 and never returned.(2)
