Mary Fannie was born on July 26th, 1894 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Mary Fannie's father was George Washington, Jr. McEwen and her mother was Attis Alice Allen. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington McEwen and Mary Catherine Sears; her maternal grandparents were Francis Marion Allen and Martha Ann Wood. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Francis Washington, John Sears, George Molton, Benjamin Jasper, Tom Slaughter, Beatrice, Tulloloh May, Annie Elizabeth and Ida Willene. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died in ?.1 -

"CROWLEY - McEWEN
On last Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock Mr. Uly Crowley and Miss Mary
Fannie McEwen were happly married at the bride's residence near Sears
Chapel. The birde is a brunette, and was lovely in a dress of blue satin
trimmed with lace. She is the second oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.
W. McEwen.
The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Crowley of the same
neighborhood, and is a sober, Christian young man. After the marriage a
reception was tendered for the bride and groom by the groom's parents at
