Charles Edward McEwen 
Charles Edward was born on January 16th, 1891 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Charles Edward's father was William Powell McEwen and his mother was Martha Georgiana Adams. His paternal grandparents were George Washington McEwen and Mary Catherine Sears; his maternal grandparents were William Henry Cidney Adams and Lucy Frances Carriker. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named William Vernie, Vernie May, Stewart Washington, George Samuels, Thomas Jefferson, James Berdie, John Adams, Tera Anderson, Lilla Maye, Annie Belle, Mary Lucy and Effie Lee. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 80 on April 11th, 1971 in San Diego, CA.1 -
