The marker at foot of Lucy's grave is in memory of her husband...The two
CSA markers next to her graves are in memory of her father, Henry and her
brother, George W. Carriker. Both served and died in 8th AL INF
somewhere in VA and buried Unk.. William H. Adams was first child of
Samuel G. Adams and Susan
Statum...Martha Adams was d/o Wm/Lucy Adams married Wm P. McEwen...I did
not know J.M. Conaway married them..I have never found it in marriage
records in Rockford...James Madison Conaway was JOP and my g gf..He
married
another dau of Lucy's and she had to sign because of dau being under age.

William Adams Born 1830 in Georgia Married A Lucy F Cariker in Tallapoosa
Ala in 1850 Had a Sarah Jane Adams in 1857 in Coosa Ala . This Family
seem to fit the Period of time . I have Also Study The Family Sarah Jane
Adams That join your Family , the Rolls indicate that she was Married To
A Ben Brown And to a Ben Jones Same As my Great grandmother . My
grandfather was Not listed , . Thanks

She is Married A Ben Brown in 1872 , Had Three Children name Emma ,minnie
and Lucy all named Brown . When she join a wagon train in texas . she
said she
was Black Dutch . She married A Ben Jones . Children Leslie ,oct 1890 and
Tish
Jones Aug 1892 And Frank jones 1894 . She died in 1896 in Utica Indian
Terr ,
