Maud De was born about 1236 in Ashill, Swaffham, Norfolk, England.  Maud De's father was Henry De Hastings [Lord Hastings] and her mother was Ada De Huntingdon Princess Of Scotland/Le Scott.  Her paternal grandparents were William De Hastings and Margaret (Margery) Bigod; her maternal grandparents were David Earl Of Huntingdon [Prince Of Scotl and Maud De Meschines [Countess Of Hun. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry De, John I De, Ida De and Eleanor (Hillaria).  She was the third oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers named Richard and William De.  She died in Corby, Bourne, Lincolnshire, England.  She was buried in St. Mary's Overy (Body) Barnwell Priory (Heart).
