Maud De was born in 1171 in Chester, Cheshire, England.  Maud De's father was Hugh De Meschines Earl Of Meschines 5th Earl Of Chester/Chester and her mother was Bertha (Bertrade) De Montfort [Countess].  Her paternal grandparents were Ranulph "De Gernon" Ranulf De 4th Earl Of Chester/Meschines and Maud Fitzrobert De Caen [Countess Of Chester; her maternal grandparents were Simon III Chauve De Montfort Count Of Evreux and Maud De Beaumont Albeaade. She had a brother and six sisters, named Ranulph De, Beatrix De, Mabel Of, Agnes Of, Agnes De, Amicia De and Hawise De.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 62 on January 6th, 1233 in England.

‌Maud De and David Earl Of were married in a religious ceremony on August 26th, 1190 in Of, Scotland.  They had four sons and six daughters, named Robert, Henry Of, John Le, David Le, Margaret De, Ada De, Isabel, Matilde, Maud Le and Marjory Of.
