Ranulph De was born about 1070 in Briquessart, Livry, France.  Ranulph De's father was Viscount Of Bayeux Ranulph De Meschines Viscount Of Bayeux and his mother was Margaret D' Avranches.  His paternal grandparents were (Count Of Bessin & Bayeux) Ranulph Vicomte Of Bessin (Count Of Bessin & Bayeux) and Alix De Normandy; his maternal grandparents were Richard Le Goz Viscount D' Avranches and Emma De Conteville. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Geoffrey De, Robert De, William De, Matilda De and Miss Dau Of Ranoulf.  He died in Chester, Cheshire, England.  He was buried in St Werburgh, Chester, Cheshire, England.

‌Ranulph De and Lucy (Lucia) Of were married in a religious ceremony about 1098 in 3rd Husband.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Ranulph "De Gernon", William De and Adeliza Alice De.
