Adelaide De was born about 1050 in Valois, Isle DE France, France.  Adelaide De's father was Herbert IV Count Of Vermandois and her mother was Adele Of Valois Vexin.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Otho De Vermandois Count and Mrs. Pavia Patia (Nmn) Countess De Vermandois; her maternal grandparents were Raoul III 'The Great' Of Valois and Adele De Bar-Sur-Aube.  She was an only child.  She died on September 23rd, 1120 in Vermandois, Normandy, France.

‌Adelaide De and Hugh 'The Great' were married in a religious ceremony in 1064 in France.  They had five sons and seven daughters, named Raoul I, Henry, Simon De, William De, Son De, Agnes De, Maud (Matilda) De, Emma Avice De, Constance De, Beatrice De, Isabel Elizabeth De and Daughter De.
