Stephen Franklin Sparks 
Stephen Franklin was born on April 7th, 1817 in Lawrence Co, Ms. Stephen Franklin's father was Richard Sparks and his mother was Elizabeth May Cooper. His paternal grandparents were William C Sparks and Mary Polly Fielder; his maternal grandparents were REV WILLIAM COOPER and ELIZABETH SCOTT. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Fielder Billy, James Hawkins, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Benton, John Marion, Mary Ann, Elizabeth C and Sarah Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 90 on March 12th, 1908 in Aransas, Tx. He was buried in Seaside Cem, Rockport, Tx, USA.General Notes
