WILLIAM was born in 1752 in DUPLIN CO., NC. WILLIAM's father was JOHN FLEET COOPER SR. and his mother was MARGUERITE COORE. His paternal grandparents were BENJAMINE COOPER and ELIZABETH KELLEY; his maternal grandparents were THOMAS COORE and MARGITT. He had three brothers and three sisters, named JOHN, FLEET, COORE, ELIZABETH, GRACE and MARY. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 69 in 1821 in BOGUE CHITTO, LAWRENCE CO., MS.-
